Description
Tasty dessert made with wild huckleberries and a granola topping. Blueberries can be used instead of huckleberries.
Ingredients
- 4 cups Huckleberries
- 1 cup Sugar
- ½ cups Flour, Divided
- 2 cups Granola
- ¼ cups Butter, Melted
- ¼ cups Flour
Preparation
Mix huckleberries, sugar and half of the flour together. Pour into a baking dish.
In another bowl, mix granola, butter, and remaining flour together. Pour granola mixture over huckleberries.
Bake at 350ºF for 40–50 minutes. Keep a close eye on the crisp. You want the mixture to be bubbling, but you don’t want your topping to burn.
Note: You can substitute blueberries for the huckleberries.
