Crispy and delicious air-fried calamari.
Ingredients
- 1 cup Yellow Cornmeal
- ½ teaspoons Paprika
- 1 teaspoon Garlic Powder
- 1 teaspoon Salt
- 1 teaspoon Ground Black Pepper
- 1 cup All-purpose Flour
- 1 whole Egg, Beaten
- 6 ounces, weight Calamari Rings
Preparation
Combine cornmeal, paprika, garlic powder, salt, and black pepper in a bowl. Add flour in a separate bowl. Add beaten egg in a separate bowl.
Dip calamari rings into the flour, then egg, then the cornmeal mixture. Place calamari rings in the air fryer and cook at 320ºF for 12 minutes or until golden crispy.
