Description
White chocolate chip scones stuffed with dulce de leche.
Ingredients
- 2 cups Flour
- ⅓ cups Sugar
- 2 teaspoons Baking Powder
- 6 Tablespoons Cold Butter
- ½ cups White Chocolate Chips
- 1 Egg
- ½ cups Milk
- 12 teaspoons Dulce De Leche
- 1 cup Dark Chocolate Candy Melt Or Semi-sweet Chocolate Chips
Preparation
Preheat oven to 425 F.
In a large bowl, combine flour, sugar and baking powder. Cut up butter and add it into the flour mixture. Add white chocolate chips. and mix. Set aside.
In a separate bowl mix egg and milk until blended and add it into the flour mixture. The batter will be a dough like consistency.
Separate dough into 12 balls. Then take each ball and split it in half. Add 1 teaspoon of dulce de leche into the middle and wrap the two halves of dough around the filling. Then form the balls into a triangle and place on a cookie sheet. No need to be perfect.
Bake at 425 F for 15 minutes or until tops are golden. Remove from oven and allow to cool.
When scones have cooled off, melt the chocolate according to package instructions and drizzle over the top of the scones. Let the chocolate set and then it’s time to eat and enjoy!
