Sweet & Sour Sticky Ribs

Description

Sumptuous sweet and sour sauce slathered over meaty St. Louis style ribs and caramelized over high heat. Finger lickin’ good!

Ingredients

  • 3 teaspoons Dried Minced Garlic
  • 2 teaspoons Ground Ginger
  • 2 teaspoons Salt
  • 2 teaspoons Pepper
  • 3 pounds St. Louis-style Pork Ribs
  • ⅔ cups Orange Marmalade
  • ¼ cups Ketchup
  • ¼ cups Soy Sauce
  • 3 Tablespoons Rice Vinegar

Preparation

Mix garlic, ginger, salt and pepper in bowl and rub over ribs.

For a 3 1/2 to 4 1/2 quart slow cooker:
Lightly spray inside of slow cooker with vegetable oil spray. Arrange ribs along bottom and sides of prepared slow cooker, meaty side facing down. Cover and cook until ribs are tender, 5 to 6 hours on low.

For a 5 to 7 quart slow cooker:
Lightly spray inside of slow cooker with vegetable oil spray. Arrange ribs along bottom and sides of prepared slow cooker, meaty side facing down. Cover and cook until ribs are tender, 3 to 4 hours on low.

Adjust oven rack 10 inches from broiler element and heat broiler. Set wire rack in aluminum foil-lined rimmed baking sheet and spray with oil spray. Whisk preserves, ketchup, soy sauce, and vinegar together. Transfer ribs meaty side up to prepared rack. Brush ribs with sauce, then broil until browned and sticky, 10 to 15 minutes. Serve with remaining sauce. Enjoy!
