Description

I have love chicken wings. I especially love these baked salty teriyaki chicken wings I dreamt up one night in a moment of pregnancy desperation. They take a while to bake but the prep is simple!

Ingredients

  • 1 package (about 1 3/4 Lb. Size) Chicken Wings
  • 2 Tablespoons Baking Powder
  • ½ teaspoons Salt
  • FOR THE SAUCE:
  • ⅓ cups Soy Sauce
  • 2 Tablespoons Balsamic Vinegar
  • 1 teaspoon Ground Ginger
  • 3 teaspoons Minced Garlic
  • 3 whole Green Onions, Chopped

Preparation

Preheat oven to 250ºF. Wash and pat dry chicken with a paper towel.

Mix baking powder with salt and dust over chicken wings sparingly. Lay wings out in a single layer on a wire rack over a baking sheet, spray with olive oil (optional). Bake for 30 minutes on the bottom oven rack.

Meanwhile, mix together sauce ingredients in a small bowl.

After 30 minutes, move chicken to the top rack and turn heat up to 425ºF. Bake for 45 minutes. Remove from oven and dip into sauce, as many times as desired. Enjoy!
