Description

A lovely creamy and rich individual quiche, perfectly sized for one. This dainty quiche is well served at a tea party or ladies lunch as the ingredients are not designed to overpower but rather complement a tasting session. You can make your own crust or use premade to save time.

Ingredients

  • 1 whole Pie Crust, Your Favorite Recipe Or Premade
  • 2 whole Fresh Eggs
  • ½ teaspoons Fresh Ground Pepper
  • ½ teaspoons Kosher Salt
  • 1 Tablespoon Heavy Cream
  • 1 teaspoon Parsley
  • 9 Tablespoons Shredded Cheese (e.g. Cheddar, Swiss, Etc)

Preparation

Preheat oven to 425ºF.

Roll pie crust out and cut out 6 rounds (approximately 5″ diameter). Line 6 cups of a standard muffin tin with parchment. Mold pie crusts rounds into the parchment cups to form the crust. Bake in the oven for 8-10 minutes or until golden.

Mix eggs, ground pepper, salt, heavy cream and parsley. Remove baked pie shells from the oven, place approximately 1 tablespoon cheese at the bottom of each shell, pour in the egg mixture, then top with a sprinkle of remaining cheese.

Bake for another 8-10 minutes until firm.
