Description

Made on pita bread, these pizzas are super easy, light, and incredibly delicious! A great way to enjoy pizza in a healthier way.

Ingredients

  • 4  Greek Style Pitas (I Use Whole Wheat)
  • CLASSIC STYLE PIZZA
  • 7-½ ounces, fluid Pizza Sauce (may Not Use It All)
  • 16  Sliced Pepperonis (Approx 8 Per Pizza)
  • 2 cups Shredded Mozzarella Cheese (approx. 1 Cup Per Pizza)
  • 2 Tablespoons Shredded Parmesan For Garnish (1 Tablespoon Each Pizza)
  • 2 Tablespoons Fresh Oregano, Chopped (1 Tablespoon Each Pizza)
  • CHICKEN & SPINACH STYLE
  • 2 Tablespoons Olive Oil (1 Tablespoon Per Pizza)
  • 2 Tablespoons Capers (1 Tablespoon Per Pizza)
  • ½ cups Roasted Red Peppers, Sliced (divide Between 2 Pizzas)
  • 16 leaves Baby Spinach (approx. 8 Per Pizza)
  • 1 cup Sliced Chicken Breast (divided Among Two Pizzas)
  • ½ cups Mozzarella Cheese (divided Between 2 Pizzas)
  • ½ cups Crumbled Feta Cheese (divided Between 2 Pizzas)
  • 2 Tablespoons Grated Parmesan For Garnish (1 Tablespoon Each Pizza)
  • Cracked Black Pepper

Preparation

NOTES: Ingredient measurements, portions and instructions are based on 4 pita pizzas, 2 of each kind.

Preheat oven to 425°F.

Prepare the pizzas and set aside until oven is fully heated. (For the white pizza, I do suggest putting the spinach onto the oiled pita first.)

Bake for 15 minutes or until cheese is bubbling and pitas have slightly browned.
