This simple and healthy recipe makes for a great breakfast, lunch, snack or even a light dinner!
Ingredients
- 1 slice Whole Wheat Toast
- ½ whole Ripe Avocado
- 2 slices Tomato
- Salt To Taste
- 3 slices Pepper Jack Cheese (optional)
Preparation
Preheat broiler (if you’re using cheese).
Toast bread (toast lightly if using cheese, toast all the way if going without cheese). Add avocado on top of toast and spread, leave it chunky or spread it smoother based on your preference. Layer on sliced tomatoes, sprinkle on salt. It’s ready to devour if you’re going without the cheese.
If using cheese, layer cheese on top and broil for 3-5 minutes until cheese is melted. Be sure to keep an eye on it to avoid burning it, that would be sad. Enjoy!
