Description

A healthy take on turkey sausage made in patty form.

Ingredients

  • ¼ teaspoons Mustard Seed
  • ¼ teaspoons Ground Thyme
  • ½ teaspoons Ground Sage
  • ½ teaspoons Salt
  • ½ teaspoons Black Pepper
  • ¼ teaspoons Red Pepper Flakes
  • ¼ teaspoons Garlic Powder
  • 1 pound Ground Turkey (93/7)
  • 1 teaspoon Olive Oil, Or As Needed

Preparation

In large bowl mix all of the ingredients except for the turkey and oil. Add the seasonings to the turkey and mix well with your hands.

Heat a sauce pan over medium/high heat, adding a little olive oil to coat. Form 7 small sausage balls and flatten a little, then add to the pan. Cook 10-12 minutes on each side or until internal temperature reaches 165ºF.
