Healthy Homemade Granola

Fresh, light and delicious. Ideal for breakfast or snacking.

Ingredients

  • 1 teaspoon Olive Oil
  • 2 Tablespoons Maple Syrup
  • ⅓ cups Oats
  • ½ cups Whole Almonds, Cut In Half
  • ½ cups Pine Nuts
  • Optional Garnishes For The Granola: Plain Natural Yogurt, Diced Fruit (kiwi, Apple, Mango)

Preparation

Preheat oven to 350 F (180 C).

Heat olive oil in a saucepan over medium heat. Add maple syrup, oats, almonds and pine nuts and stir until combined. Remove from heat.

Spread the granola onto a baking sheet and bake for 4 minutes at 350 F. Stir the granola and cook for another 4 minutes. Remove the baking sheet from the oven and let the granola cool completely.

You can keep your granola for two weeks in a mason jar or hermetic box.

For serving put your desired diced fruit into a bowl. Top with yoghurt and sprinkle with granola.
