Description

A mustard, honey, and garlic glaze coats this perfectly cooked salmon, along with a nice and crispy salmon skin chip.

Ingredients

  • 2 Tablespoons Yellow Mustard
  • 2 Tablespoons Honey
  • 2 cloves Garlic, Minced
  • 1 Tablespoon Canola Oil
  • 1-¼ pound Salmon Fillet
  • 1 pinch Salt
  • 1 Tablespoon Unsalted Butter

Preparation

Add mustard, honey, and garlic to a small mixing bowl. Mix well and set aside.

Heat a large skillet on medium heat until it begins to lightly smoke. Add oil, swirl, then cook salmon fillet, skin-side down. Season with salt. Cook for about 4 minutes, then carefully flip with a large spatula. The skin should be nice and crisp.

Brush mustard and honey mixture on top of salmon. Continue to brush for the next few minutes. Add butter, and swirl it in the skillet. Cook until salmon is fully cooked, about 10 minutes total. Remove from skillet and pour over any additional sauce.
