Turn your weeknight pizza into a veggie garden by adding some kalettes!
Ingredients
- 1 package Store Bought Whole Grain Pizza Dough (you Can Use Homemade If You Like)
- 1-¼ cup Muir Glen Garden Veggie Pasta Sauce
- 1 cup Grilled Chicken, Sliced Thinly
- 2 Tablespoons Olive Oil
- ½ whole Red Onion, Sliced
- 1 whole Red Pepper, Sliced
- 2 cups Kalettes, Diced
- Salt And Pepper, to taste
- 1-½ cup Mozzarella, Shredded
Preparation
Preheat oven to 400ºF. Spray a baking sheet with nonstick cooking spray. Roll out dough into a large rectangle. Spread pasta sauce all over dough, leaving a 1-inch border for crust. Place grilled chicken on top of pasta sauce.
Preheat skillet to medium-high heat. Add olive oil, red onion, and red pepper. Saute 2 minutes and then add kalettes. Conitue to saute until veggies have softened, about 5 minutes. Season to taste with salt and pepper. Remove skillet from heat and put veggies on top of grilled chicken.
Sprinkle veggies with mozzarella and place pizza in oven for about 20 to 25 minutes or until golden brown. Remove from oven, slice, and devour!
