White Sangria

Description

Very easy, very refreshing sangria made with fresh summer fruits and sparkling wine.

Note: There are no specific measurements for the wine and juice; you’ll use equal parts of each based on the size of your pitcher.

Ingredients

  • Medium-dry White Wine (such As Pinot Grigio)
  • White Grape Or White Grape-peach Juice
  • 2 whole Peaches, Sliced Into Wedges
  • 2 whole Limes, Sliced Into Rounds
  • Green Grapes, Amount To Your Liking
  • Sliced Frozen Strawberries, Amount To Your Liking
  • Fresh Mint (optional)
  • Sparkling Wine/Champagne, Dry Or Brut, For Topping

Preparation

In a pitcher or beverage server, pour equal parts wine and grape juice, filling the pitcher 3/4 full.

Add all fruit except strawberries and stir. Allow the mixture to refrigerate for at least an hour, but up to 4 hours.

When ready to serve, add strawberries and mint (if using) to the pitcher. Top with champagne and stir very gently. Serve without ice, making sure all glasses are served with some of the cold fruit from the pitcher.
