Cinnamon Apple Oatmeal

Description

This is the perfect breakfast on a chilly autumn morning.

Ingredients

  • 2 cups Milk Or Water
  • ½ teaspoons Cinnamon
  • 1 cup Old Fashioned Oats
  • 1 pinch Salt
  • 1  Apple, Diced
  • 3 Tablespoons Brown Sugar

Preparation

1. Bring water to a boil in a medium saucepan; add the cinnamon. Add the oats and salt and cook according to the directions on the package.

2. Chop the apple into bite-sized pieces.

3. Once the oatmeal has thickened and is gently boiling, stir in the apples and brown sugar. Cook for a few more minutes. If you like softer apples, then cook for about 3-4 minutes.

4. Serve.

I like to top mine with some chopped pecans and extra brown sugar.
