Apple Cider Oatmeal

Description

A cozy bowl of apple spiced oatmeal that is perfect for cold mornings, or even evenings!

Ingredients

  • ½ cups Oatmeal
  • 7 ounces, fluid Apple Cider, More Or Less To Taste
  • ¼ cups Chopped Granny Smith Apple
  • ½ teaspoons Cinnamon
  • ¼ teaspoons Nutmeg
  • 1 Tablespoon Wheat Germ
  • 2 Tablespoons Chopped Pecans

Preparation

Add oatmeal, cider, and chopped apple to a microwave safe bowl. Use a little less apple cider if you like thick oatmeal, or a little if you like it thinner. Cook oatmeal according to package directions.

When oatmeal reaches desired thickness, stir in remaining ingredients.

Note: adjust seasonings to your preference. I don’t usually measure, but I like a lot of spices!
