Description

This is such an easy refreshing punch that you can make for any crowd.

Ingredients

  • 8 cups, 7 tablespoons, ¾ teaspoons, ⅓ pinches Ginger Ale Soda
  • 1 can (12 Oz. Can) Frozen Cranberry Juice Cocktail, Melted
  • 1 pint Raspberry Sorbet, Melted
  • 3 cups Cold Water
  • 6 whole Limes, Divided
  • ½ cups Sugar, For Decoration

Preparation

Add ginger ale, melted cranberry juice cocktail and the melted raspberry sorbet to your favorite punch bowl or pitcher. I add the ginger ale first to keep the mixture from foaming.

Lastly, add the 3 cups of cold water to the mixture (I pour the water in the cranberry juice container as well as the sorbet container so I get all the good stuff out of the package).

Juice 3-4 of the limes depending on how much juice you get and add to the mixture, saving the others for for garnish.

You are ready to go!

For a fancy touch, zest the couple of the limes that were used in the punch in 1/2 cup of sugar and mix it with the zest. Then rub the rim of a glass with a wedge of one of the limes and roll the rim in the lime-zested sugar.

If desired, 2 cups of plain or flavored vodka such as raspberry, cranberry, currant, citrus or lime can be added to this recipe to kick it from an everyday to adult beverage. You can even add frozen raspberries for a special touch.

Variation: Substitute frozen limeade concentrate for the cranberry juice concentrate, lemon-lime soda
for the ginger ale and lemon sorbet for the raspberry sorbet. You will have a lemon-lime flavored fizzy punch.
