Description
This easy homemade granola can be thrown together in 5 minutes, plus you have the option to add any fixins’ you want in it: dried fruit of your choice, chia seeds, pumpkin seeds, nuts of your choice, or even chocolate chips. The possibilities are endless. You can even make it gluten-free by using gluten-free oats.
Ingredients
- 3 cups Old-fashioned Rolled Oats (uncooked)
- 1 cup Shredded Coconut
- 1 cup Nuts Of Choice (I Used Sliced Almonds)
- ¼ cups Honey
- ¼ cups Butter, Melted
- 1-½ teaspoon Cinnamon
- ½ teaspoons Salt
Preparation
Combine all ingredients except raisins in an un-greased 13×9 sheet pan; mix well. Bake 350ºF for 25–30 minutes or until golden brown, stirring occasionally.
Stir in raisins, cool and store tightly in a covered container in cool dry place.
Serve with milk or as a snack. Makes about 6 cups.
Note: Old-fashioned oats makes it crunchier than with quick oats.
