Description
Goldfish crackers made from real and whole ingredients you can feel good about feeding your kids.
Ingredients
- 1-½ cup Finely Grated Sharp Cheddar Cheese
- 1 cup All-purpose Flour
- 1 teaspoon Baking Powder
- 1 teaspoon Onion Powder
- 1 teaspoon Kosher Salt
- ¼ cups Milk
- 1 Tablespoon Vegetable Oil
Preparation
Place cheddar cheese, flour, baking powder, onion powder and salt into a mixing bowl and mix using a rubber spatula. Add milk and oil and mix until a dough forms (it should come together pretty quickly).
On a floured, flat surface, knead dough for 2–3 minutes. Let dough sit on counter for 10–15 minutes.
Preheat oven to 375°F. Line a baking sheet with a Silpat or parchment paper.
Roll out the dough and cut shapes. I used fish cookie cutters I bought on Amazon. You can use any shape you like of course.
Place crackers on lined baking sheet and bake in the middle rack of preheated oven for 7–8 minutes. Ovens vary, so watch them so they don’t burn.
Remove and top with a sprinkle of kosher salt and enjoy!
