Description
These Almond Crusted Chicken Tenders are a healthy alternative to the classic chicken tender, using almond meal instead of breadcrumbs.
Ingredients
- 1 Tablespoon Coconut Oil
- 1 cup Almond Flour
- ½ teaspoons Salt
- ½ teaspoons Freshly Ground Black Pepper
- ½ teaspoons Old Bay Seasoning
- 1 teaspoon Garlic Powder
- 1 teaspoon Onion Powder
- 1 teaspoon Paprika
- 1 teaspoon Oregeno
- 1 pound Chicken Breast Tenders
- 1 whole Egg
Preparation
Heat coconut oil in a large skillet.
In a large zip-top bag, add almond flour and all the seasonings. Shake to mix thoroughly. Beat egg in a bowl for the egg wash.
Dip each chicken strip into egg wash and then pop right in zip-top bag. Shake to fully coat chicken. I like to do 4 strips at a time.
Add strips right to hot pan and cook for 7 minutes on each side or until chicken is cooked through and crispy. Plate and feast!
