Light Winter Yogurt Chia Parfait

Description

A creamy Greek yogurt base mixed with chia seeds and layered between juicy winter fruits. Loaded with probiotics, fiber and vitamins.

Ingredients

  • FOR THE CHIA GEL:
  • 2 Tablespoons Chia Seeds
  • 6 ounces, fluid Water (or Orange Juice)
  • FOT THE PARFAIT:
  • 5 ounces, fluid Vanilla Greek Yogurt
  • 5 ounces, weight Plain Greek Yogurt
  • 8 Tablespoons Pomegranate Seeds
  • 1  Kiwi Fruit, Peeled And Sliced Thin
  • 4 slices Orange

Preparation

In a bowl soak the chia seeds in the water (or orange juice) for 5-10 minutes. This will produce a nutritious chia gel. Mix chia gel with vanilla yogurt and plain yogurt.

Get your parfait cups ready (I used Champagne glasses).

Layer the chia pudding in cups with pomegranate seeds and kiwi fruit pieces in between. Add a slice of orange on top.
