This spiced cider is perfect for warming up on winter’s chilly nights.
Ingredients
- 2 quarts Fresh Pressed Apple Cider
- 6 Whole Star Anise
- 4 Whole Cinnamon Sticks
- 10 whole Allspice Berries
- 1 whole Orange, Cut Into 1/4-inch Thick Slices
Preparation
Add ingredients to a deep pot. Bring to a boil, then reduce to a simmer and let cook for 30 minutes. When done, pour through a fine strainer or sieve. Offer guests a splash of bourbon or rum, if desired.
Storage directions: may be kept refrigerated in a tightly sealed container for up to two weeks.
