Description

A very easy drink my guys favor after a long, hot day of work. This has been used in my family for generations, long before they ever thought about electrolytes or Gatorade. Enjoy!

Ingredients

  • 1 quart Water
  • ½ cups Molasses
  • 1 teaspoon Powdered Ginger
  • 2 whole Lemons

Preparation

Mix in the molasses (you can also use honey, sugar or maple syrup as a sweetener – my guys prefer the molasses) in the water. Stir in your ginger, add the juice of one lemon.

Slice the remaining lemon, add. Serve over ice. Best if refrigerated for an hour beforehand, ice cold!
