Endlessly versatile, this basic granola recipe is perfect anytime of the day. Watch out, though—it’s addicting!

Ingredients

  • 4 cups Old Fashioned Oats
  • ¾ cups Nuts, Chopped (your Preference)
  • ½ cups Coconut
  • 1 dash Salt
  • ½ teaspoons Cinnamon
  • ¼ cups Water
  • ½ cups Honey Or Maple Syrup
  • ⅓ cups Unsweetened Applesauce
  • 1 cup Dried Fruit (your Preference)

Preparation

Preheat the oven to 350ºF. Combine oats, nuts, coconut, salt and cinnamon in a large bowl. Combine water, honey and applesauce in a small saucepan and bring to a boil. Pour the boiling mixture over the dry mix and stir until mixed together. Place evenly coated onto a baking sheet and bake for about 25 minutes. Once cool, stir in fruit and store in an airtight container.
