Description
A simple mac and cheese with the taste of Alfredo sauce. Dump everything in a saucepan, and you’ll be eating mac and cheese twenty minutes later. Brilliant!
Ingredients
- 8 ounces, fluid Mezzi Rigatoni Pasta
- 4 cups Milk
- ½ teaspoons Kosher Salt
- ½ teaspoons Freshly Ground Black Pepper
- ½ teaspoons Dry Minced Onion
- 1 pinch Freshly Grated Nutmeg
- ¼ cups Cream Cheese, Room Temperature
- 1 Tablespoon Butter
- 3 cups Freshly Grated Grand Cru Surchoix Cheese, Or A Blend Of Parmesan And Swiss Cheeses
Preparation
In a large saucepan, bring pasta, milk, salt, pepper, minced onion, and nutmeg to a boil over high heat.
When the mixture begins to boil, reduce the heat to medium. Stir often, until pasta is cooked to your liking. This should take anywhere between 14 and 20 minutes.
Turn heat off and stir in cream cheese and butter, until thoroughly incorporated. Stir in cheese until it is completely melted.
Serve immediately.
