Description

A tasty 5-ingredient recipe (assuming you use store-bought pesto). A super quick and cheesy meal you can make any work night.

Ingredients

  • 1 pound Pasta (noodle Of Choice)
  • ½ cups Prepared Pesto (store Bought Or Homemade)
  • 2 Tablespoons Softened Butter
  • 14-½ ounces, weight Canned Diced Tomatoes
  • 29 ounces, fluid Canned Tomato Sauce
  • 1-½ cup Shredded Mozzarella

Preparation

Preheat oven to 325 F.

Prepare the noodles per the box instructions. Drain and add them into a baking dish (I used a large oval baker but a 9×13 should work fine as well).

Combine the pesto and butter then mix it into the cooked noodles. Mix well. Add the tomatoes and tomato sauce and mix well.

Finish by adding the cheese in 2 steps. Mix a little into the whole dish but put the majority on the top to get that crisp cheese topping.

Bake in a 325 F oven for 5 minutes just to get a good melt on the cheese. Then, turn the oven to high broil and brown the cheese. Serve and enjoy!
