Description

A delicious weeknight meal for two in a matter of minutes!

Ingredients

  • 1 Tablespoon Sweet Cream Butter
  • 1 whole Small Onion, Sliced Thin
  • 8 ounces, weight Sirloin Steak, Sliced Into Bite Size Strips
  • 1 teaspoon Black Pepper
  • 1 Tablespoon Soy Sauce
  • 1 Tablespoon Brown Sugar
  • ¼ cups Low Sodium Beef Stock
  • 1 Tablespoon Cornstarch
  • ½ cups Whole Salted Cashews

Preparation

In a 10-inch skillet (or frying pan), add butter. Once melted, add sliced onion and saute a few minutes over medium high heat. Add beef strips, black pepper, soy sauce, brown sugar and stir to incorporate ingredients. Cook for 6–7 minutes, stirring regularly.

In a small bowl, mix stock and cornstarch. Add to the pan and stir. Cook for a few minutes more, then add cashews and stir well. Turn off heat.

Pairs well with rice, or pasta. Enjoy the flavors!
