Description
A guacamole for garlic lovers!
Ingredients
- 4 Ripe Avocados
- ½ cups Red Onion, Diced
- 3 Tablespoons Lime Juice, Or More To Taste
- 1-½ Tablespoon Fresh Garlic, Minced
- 1 Tablespoon Garlic Salt
Preparation
Slice and “de-pit” avocados. Set 2 pits aside.
Add the green goods (avocado) to a large bowl. And mash! (I use a potato masher—it works wonders.)
Add red onion, lime juice, garlic and garlic salt to the mashed green goods and mix well. Taste along the way, adding more lime juice slowly if desired.
Serve with chips, or veggies or your finger.
Enjoy!
Tip: Don’t worry, those 2 lonely pits were not forgotten. When you’re done eating this delightful guac and if there’s any left, plop those pits back into the gauc and cover with some plastic wrap. When covering with the plastic wrap, have the plastic actually touch the guac and stick it to the inside of the bowl, allowing no air to touch the pretty green guac. We want green, not brown; I stored mine for days and it stayed a beautiful shade of green! Let’s not kid, I stored it for 1 night. I immediately ate it all and left the empty bowl in the fridge for days!
