Description
If you love the southern condiment known as Remoulade you will love this dip. It has a zesty fresh taste that complements the shrimp really well. Crab would also be delicious in this dip.
Ingredients
- 1 package (8 Ounce Size) Cream Cheese, Softened
- ½ cups Mayonnaise
- ¼ cups Sour Cream
- ¼ cups Creole Or Dijon Mustard
- 2 Tablespoons Ketchup
- 1 Tablespoon Pickle Relish
- ½ whole Lemon, Juiced (1/2 Of A Lemon Should Yield 2 Tablespoons)
- 1 Tablespoon Minced Italian Parsley
- ½ teaspoons Sweet Paprika
- ¼ teaspoons Garlic Powder
- ¼ teaspoons Red Cayenne Pepper (or Double If You Want More “kick”)
- 2 cups Shredded Pepper Jack Cheese
- 1 cup Shredded Cheddar Cheese
- 1 bunch Green Onions, Sliced, Green Tops Included
- ½ cups Diced Red Bell Pepper
- 2 cans (15 Oz. Size) Corn, Drained (or Equal Amound Of Fresh Or Frozen)
- 1 pound Shrimp, Peeled, Deveined And Cooked, Then Chopped
Preparation
In a large bowl, mix the cream cheese, mayo, sour cream, mustard, ketchup, pickle relish, lemon juice, parsley, paprika, garlic powder and cayenne pepper. Mix well until smooth.
Stir in the cheeses, green onions, red bell pepper and corn. Gently fold in chopped shrimp and mix.
Transfer to your serving dish and place in the fridge for a few hours to allow the flavors to blend.
