Description
When figs are in season they are sweet and juicy and you can dress them up with a little chocolate and hazelnut creating a delightful dessert. Figs are also loaded with super nutrients.
Ingredients
- ½ cups Organic Pumpkin Seed Or Hazelnut Butter (without Additives)
- 7 ounces, weight Gluten Free Dark Chocolate, Broken Into Small Pieces
- 1 cup Raw Pecans, Finely Chopped
- 16 whole Small Fresh Figs
Preparation
Place pumpkin seed or hazelnut butter and chocolate in a heavy bottom small saucepan and while stirring melt the butter and chocolate using low heat. Remove from heat once melted.
Put the pecans in a shallow bowl.
Dip each fig into the chocolate to coat about 3/4 of the fig then roll in the pecans.
Place on a tray and chill for 45 minutes before serving.
