Ingredients
- 1 cup Heavy Cream
- 1-½ stick Sweet Cream Butter, Softened
- ¼ cups Granulated Sugar
- ½ cups Confectioners Sugar
- 2 whole Valencia Oranges, Zest And Juice
- ¼ teaspoons Pure Vanilla Extract
Preparation
In a mixing bowl add heavy cream, butter, granulated sugar and confectioners’ sugar and use a hand mixer or stand mixer to cream together on low speed. Add orange zest and juice and the vanilla extract and mix together on high for several minutes to obtain that creamy consistency.
Refrigerate in an airtight container. I use this all the time for cupcakes, breakfast items and many different desserts. Adding dollops on fruit is also outstanding. Who said frosting is only for a cake? Enjoy!
