Description
Guacamole is a super-easy-to-make chip dip. It is healthy and very versatile. It’s great on tacos, burritos, nachos, and quesadillas.
Ingredients
- 2 Avocados
- ⅓ cups Diced Yellow Onion
- ½ cups Canned Diced Tomatoes
- ⅓ cups Chopped Cilantro
- 1 teaspoon Lime Juice
Preparation
Cut avocados in half and remove the pit. Scoop out the fruit of the avocado onto a plate. Mash with a fork to your desired smoothness (I mash it pretty smooth except for a few chunks).
Add the mashed avocados into a bowl. Mix in onion, tomatoes, cilantro, and lime juice. Store in an airtight container in the fridge before serving.
Serve with tortilla chips and enjoy!
Tips:
A combination of the airtight container and the lime juice should help the avocados from turning brown on you.
Sometimes I add Rotel instead of diced tomatoes if I want a little more spiciness.
You could also add some diced jalapenos for added spice.
