Description

Sugary, sweet, lemony, tart, amazing goodness—those are a few words to describe this drink. My Georgia Lemonade stems from years of trial and error with lemonade mixes, homemade lemonades, and family and friends as my taste testers. This recipe for Georgia Blueberry Lemonade is one that you will be making over and over again.

Ingredients

  • 2 cups Sugar, Divided
  • 8 Tablespoons Country Time Lemonade Mix
  • 2 whole Lemons (Meyers Are The Best), Divided
  • 1 cup Blueberries

Preparation

Add 1 1/2 cups of sugar to a gallon-size pitcher. Add lemonade mix to sugar.

Add water to fill pitcher 3/4 way full. Squeeze 1 lemon into water mixture. Add slices of remaining lemon to water mixture.

Boil blueberries, remaining 1/2 cup sugar, and 1/2 cup water, on stove for about 3 minutes. Let cool 5 minutes. Pour blueberry mixture into a colander set over a large bowl. Take wooden spoon and mash blueberries. Discard smashed blueberries.

Add blueberry syrup to lemonade mixture. Refrigerate and enjoy or serve over ice.
