Ingredients
- 4 Apples, Peeled, Cored And Sliced Into Even ¼ Inch Thick Slices (Fuji And Gala Work Great)
- ¼ cups Coconut Sugar
- 1 teaspoon Ground Cinnamon
- ¼ teaspoons Ground Nutmeg
- ⅛ teaspoons Ground Ginger
- ⅛ teaspoons Kosher Salt
- 1 Tablespoon Coconut Oil
Preparation
In a large mixing bowl, combine apples, coconut sugar, cinnamon, nutmeg, ginger and salt. Toss to evenly coat the apples.
Heat a large sauce pan or skillet over medium-high heat. Add coconut oil and allow to melt.
Cook apple mixture over medium heat, stirring occasionally, for 8 to 10 minutes or until apples are almost fully tender.
