Description

This is a garlicky cream sauce is very popular in Greek cuisine. It goes very well with any meat or fish main dish and is excellent as a dip with fresh veggies or crackers. Delicious and easy!

Ingredients

  • 1 whole Potato, Peeled, Boiled And Mashed
  • ½ loaves White Bread, Crusts Removed
  • 10 cloves Garlic, Cleaned And Crushed
  • ¼ cups Lemon Juice
  • ½ cups Olive Oil
  • 2 teaspoons White Vinegar
  • 1 teaspoon Apple Cider Vinegar

Preparation

Peel potato and boil until tender. Let cool and place in food processor.

Remove crusts from bread and soak bread in water. Squeeze excess water from bread and place in food processor with potato. Clean garlic and crush with garlic press or side of a knife. Add to food processor. Add lemon juice, olive oil and vinegar. Process for about 20 to 30 seconds or until smooth and creamy.

Serve with meat or fish main dish or as a cold dip with fresh veggies or crackers. Refrigerate; this will last for 1 week.
