Description
Ooey gooey butter cake. A delicious summer cake perfect for barbecues and picnics.
Ingredients
- 1 package (about 15 Oz. Size) Yellow Cake Mix
- 3 Eggs
- 2 sticks Butter, Melted, Divided
- 8 ounces, weight Cream Cheese, Room Temperature
- 3 cups Sugar
- 1 teaspoon Vanilla
- Powdered Sugar, For Dusting
Preparation
Preheat oven to 350ºF.
Prepare crust:
In large bowl, combine cake mix, 1 egg and 1 stick melted butter with a wooden spoon until moist. Spread evenly in bottom of ungreased 13×9 baking pan.
Beat cream cheese in medium bowl until fluffy. Add remaining 2 eggs and melted butter and mix well. Add sugar 1 cup at a time until well blended. Mix in vanilla. Pour filling over crust and spread with spatula.
Bake 40–45 minutes until lightly browned but center still jiggles a bit when pan is moved. Let cool 30 minutes (center will set). Sprinkle with powdered sugar and enjoy!
