Cherry Blueberry Crumble

Description

With heaps of sweet, fresh cherries and blueberries and a buttery, slightly-crunchy topping, this comforting crumble is a gooey summer indulgence!

Ingredients

  • 3 cups Fresh Cherries, Pitted And Halved
  • 1-½ cup Fresh Blueberries
  • 1 Tablespoon Cornstarch
  • ½ cups Granulated Sugar, Divided
  • ½ cups Flour
  • ¼ cups Light Brown Sugar
  • ¼ teaspoons Salt
  • ½ cups 1-Minute Oats
  • 6 Tablespoons Cold Butter

Preparation

Preheat oven to 350ºF. Butter an 8-inch square baking dish and set aside.

Place cherries and blueberries in a large bowl. Add cornstarch and ¼ cup of granulated sugar and mix gently until fruit is evenly coated with sugar. Pour fruit into baking dish.

Place remaining granulated sugar, flour, brown sugar, salt, oats, and butter in the bowl of a stand mixer with the paddle attachment. Mix together until ingredients are incorporated and mixture is crumbly.

Spread crumble mixture evenly over the fruit in the baking dish. Bake for 40–45 minutes until golden brown on top. Cool 45 minutes or until room temperature.

Serve with sweetened whipped cream, if desired. Enjoy!
