Use a little aged brandy to bring a little added holiday cheer to those you love!

Ingredients

  • FOR THE FRUIT-AGED BRANDY:
  • A Mixture Of Desired Dried Fruits, Such As Plums, Apples, Currants, Raisins, Apricots
  • Brandy
  • FOR THE CIDER TODDY:
  • 3 cups Fresh Apple Cider
  • ¼ cups Aged Fruit From Brandy
  • ⅛ teaspoons Cinnamon
  • 4 ounces, fluid Fruit Aged Brandy

Preparation

For the fruit-aged brandy:
In a jar, add a mixture of desired dried fruits—including plums, apples, currants, raisins, and apricots. Pour over brandy and allow the fruit to steep for at least 1 day. Keep jar in cool place to steep, shaking the jar occasionally to ensure all fruit is marinated. Use as necessary.

For the cider toddy:
In a saucepan, heat apple cider, and aged fruit until simmering. Add in cinnamon and stir to combine. Pour into mugs, and top with 2 ounces aged brandy. Serve immediately.
