Description

Whole Wheat Pancakes that are fluffy, dense, and made in one bowl.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup Whole Wheat Flour
  • 1 cup All-purpose Flour
  • 2 Tablespoons Granulated Sugar
  • 1 Tablespoon Baking Powder
  • ½ teaspoons Salt
  • 2  Eggs
  • 1-¼ cup Milk
  • ⅓ cups Canola Or Vegetable Oil
  • 1-½ teaspoon Pure Vanilla Extract
  • 1 Tablespoon Butter, For Cooking

Preparation

In a large bowl, mix together flours, sugar, baking powder, and salt. Make a well by pushing dry ingredients to sides of bowl. In the well, add eggs, milk, oil, and vanilla extract. Whisk wet ingredients together in well. (It’s okay if some dry ingredients mix with the wet ingredients.) Whisk all ingredients together until just combined.

Heat a large frying pan to medium heat. Add butter to prevent pancakes from sticking to pan. Pour 1/2 cup pancake batter onto pan. Cook on either side for 2 minutes or until center is completely cooked. Repeat with remaining batter.

Serve warm with desired toppings and enjoy!
