Raspberry Sugared Baked Almonds

Delicious snack! Only 3 ingredients.

Ingredients

  • 8 ounces, weight Fresh Raspberries (Or Frozen)
  • 16 ounces, weight Raw Whole Almonds
  • 6 Tablespoons Granulated Sugar, Divided

Preparation

Preheat oven to 400ºF.

In a saucepan over low heat, add raspberries and 4 tablespoons (1/4 cup) sugar. Stir to combine. Once fruit breaks down and is syrupy, pass through a mesh sieve under a bowl.

Add raw almonds to a mixing bowl and add raspberry syrup. Stir well to coat. Transfer to a nonstick rimmed baking sheet pan and bake 11 minutes.

Sprinkle remaining granulated sugar over baked almonds. Allow to cool then store in an airtight container or jars.
