Description

Watermelon Lemonade is a refreshing and tart summer drink.

Ingredients

  • 4 cups Water
  • ¼ cups Sugar
  • 2 Tablespoons Honey
  • 4 cups Chopped Seedless Watermelon
  • 1 cup Fresh Lemon Juice (for 1 Cup You’ll Need Approximately 6 Lemons)

Preparation

1. In a small saucepan, bring half of the water to a boil with the sugar. Stir occasionally to ensure the sugar dissolves. When the water boils, stir in the honey and remove from heat.

2. Puree the watermelon in a blender. Add a splash of water if needed.

3. Combine the watermelon juice and lemon juice. Strain the juice into a pitcher to get rid of any seeds or pulp. Once the sugar water has cooled, add it to the pitcher as well. Pour the remaining half of the water in the pitcher to dilute the lemonade. Refrigerate until serving.
