Tasty air fryer drumsticks.
Ingredients
- 6 pieces Chicken Drumsticks
- ¼ teaspoons Salt
- ¼ teaspoons Paprika
- ¼ teaspoons Ground Black Pepper
- ¼ teaspoons Garlic Powder
- 1 Tablespoon Baking Powder
- FOR THE BRINE:
- 4 cups Water
- 4 Tablespoons Kosher Salt
- FOR THE GLAZE:
- ¼ cups Honey
- ¼ cups Hot Sauce Or Sriracha Sauce
- 1 ounce, weight Butter
Preparation
Add brine ingredients and chicken drumsticks in a bowl. Cover and refrigerate for 4 hours.
After brining, dry out chicken using paper towels.
In a separate bowl, combine salt, paprika, ground black pepper, garlic powder, baking powder, and chicken drumsticks. Mix well until well coated.
Place chicken legs in the air fryer and cook for 20 minutes at 350ºF. Flip chicken halfway through cooking time.
After 20 minutes, increase cooking temperature to 400ºF and cook for an additional 5 minutes to brown the chicken.
In a hot pan, combine glaze ingredients and simmer for a minute. Coat chicken drumstocks with glaze. Serve hot.
