Description
This All Natural Chocolate Syrup is so much better for you than store bought! No refined sugars, artificial ingredients or preservatives, and it takes less than five minutes to prepare.
Ingredients
- ½ cups Water
- ¼ cups Maple Syrup
- ¼ cups Cocoa Powder
- ¾ teaspoons Vanilla Extract
- 1 pinch Sea Salt
Preparation
Whisk water and syrup together in a small saucepan over medium heat. When mixture boils, reduce heat to low and whisk in cocoa powder until no lumps remain. Continue to simmer until mixture thickens, about 2 minutes.
Remove from heat and stir in vanilla extract and salt. Store in the refrigerator in an airtight container.
