    Description

    A creamy, thick, gluten-free, healthy smoothie made with chocolate, coconut and almonds. It tastes just like an Almond Joy candy bar.

    Ingredients

    • FOR THE SMOOTHIE:
    • ⅓ cups Rolled Oats (I Used Trader Joe’s Gluten Free Oats)
    • 1 teaspoon Chia Seeds
    • ½ cups Plain Greek Yogurt, 0% Fat
    • ½ cups Unsweetened Coconut Milk (From A Carton, Not Canned) Or Milk Of Your Choice
    • 1 Tablespoon Unsweetened Cocoa Powder
    • ¼ teaspoons Coconut Extract
    • ⅛ teaspoons Almond Extract
    • ¼ teaspoons Stevia or Maple Syrup, To Taste
    • FOR THE TOPPING:
    • 1 Tablespoon Almonds, Slivered
    • 1 Tablespoon Coconut, Shredded, Unsweetened

    Preparation

    The night before you want to serve this, add all of the ingredients (except for the toppings) into a medium-sized bowl. Mix well, cover and refrigerate overnight.

    In the morning, add the rolled oats mixture into a blender and process until smooth.

    Pour into your serving glasses, top with slivered almonds and shredded coconut and serve.
