Description
Overnight steel cut oats inspired by the candy bar.
Ingredients
- ¼ cups Steel Cut Oats
- 2 Tablespoons Almond Flour
- 1 Tablespoon Vanilla Whey Protein Powder (optional For A Protein Boost)
- ½ Tablespoons Chia Seeds
- ¾ cups Coconut Milk (from A Carton)
- 1 Tablespoon Plain Greek Yogurt
- ½ teaspoons Vanilla Extract
- ¼ teaspoons Almond Extract
- 2 Tablespoons Unsweetened Shredded Coconut
- 1 Tablespoon Sliced Almonds
- 1 Tablespoon Cacao Nibs
Preparation
Combine all ingredients except cacao nibs in a small bowl and mix together. Cover and refrigerate for at least 6 hours or overnight. Uncover, stir, add more milk if necessary until desired consistency is reached. Fold in cacao nibs.
Notes:
Oats could easily be made hot on the stovetop if desired. If doing so, omit Greek yogurt. Also, leave shredded coconut and almonds out and fold in with cacao nibs once oatmeal is cooked.
Regular oatmeal could be used instead of steelcut.
