Amish Baked Oatmeal

Description

A family favorite that was often on the menu for breakfast in Maine with wild blueberries. Great with lowfat vanilla yogurt too.

Ingredients

  • ½ cups Canola Oil
  • ½ cups Sugar Or Honey Or Maple Syrup
  • 2  Eggs
  • 1 teaspoon Pure Vanilla
  • 3 cups Regular Oats
  • 2 teaspoons Baking Powder
  • 1 dash Cinnamon
  • 1 cup Milk

Preparation

Preheat oven to 350 F. In a medium size bowl, mix everything together. Spread it into a 9 inch by 9 inch baking dish that you’ve sprayed with cooking spray. Bake for 30 minutes at 350 F. Serve warm with fresh fruit.
