Description
This is a fantastic use for those bushels of apples that accumulate this time of year! Smoothies are a wonderful quick meal, and the protein can be really satisfying.
Ingredients
- 2 cups Chopped Apple (1 Apple Yields Approximately 1 Cup)
- 1-½ cup Low Fat Plain Yogurt
- 2 Tablespoons Orange Juice
- ¼ teaspoons Pure Vanilla Extract
- 2 teaspoons Honey
- ½ teaspoons Cinnamon
- ¼ teaspoons Cardamom
- ½ teaspoons Nutmeg
- 1-½ cup Ice Cubes
Preparation
Combine all ingredients in a blender and puree until smooth. Pour into two glasses and garnish with a sprinkle of cinnamon.
