Description
A yummy recipe for apple cider.
Ingredients
- 10 Red Apples
- 1 gallon Water
- 4 sticks (small) Mexican Cinnamon
- 6 whole Cloves
- ½ teaspoons Nutmeg
- ½ cups Brown Sugar
Preparation
Put all ingredients except for the sugar in a large stockpot and bring to a boil. Reduce heat to low and simmer for about 5 hours.
Strain the apple cider into a pitcher. Mashing the apple chunks to get all the juice out. Add sugar to the pitcher and stir util dissolved.
Serve warm. When cool, store in the refrigerator. Can also be served cold.
