Description

A hearty thick bowl of steelcut oats made with apples and cinnamon and slow cooked in the crockpot. Perfect oatmeal every time!

Ingredients

  • 3 cups Water
  • 1 cup Steelcut Oats
  • 1 whole Apple, Peeled, Cored And Diced
  • 1 teaspoon Vanilla Extract
  • ½ teaspoons Cinnamon
  • 1 pinch Salt

Preparation

In a bowl that will fit inside your crockpot, add all of your ingredients and stir. Place the bowl in the crockpot and then fill the crockpot with water until the water comes at least halfway up the sides of the inner bowl. Set the your crockpot on low for 6-8 hours.

Serve with brown sugar, maple syrup or nuts.
