Description

A deliciously simple fall gluten-free dessert.

Ingredients

  • 6 whole Apples, Cored And Slice Thin
  • 1 cup Gluten Free Oats (I Used Bob’s Red Mill)
  • 1 cup Brown Sugar
  • ½ cups Almond Flour (I Used Honeyville)
  • ½ teaspoons Cinnamon
  • ½ cups Cold Unsalted Butter, Cut Into Cubes

Preparation

Preheat oven to 375°F. Grease or spray an 8 x 8 baking dish. Put sliced apples into the pan.

In a bowl, stir the oats, sugar, almond flour and cinnamon. Cut the cold butter into the flour mixture with your hands until it resembles coarse crumbs. Top apples with flour mixture.

Bake for 35–45 minutes until topping is golden. Serve warm with vanilla ice cream or whipped cream.
