Apple-dipped Cinnamon Pancakes

Description

One of my favorite breakfast dishes to make this time of year! Also a great way to get the kids involved with cooking as they are so easy to make!

Ingredients

  • 2 cups Dry Pancake Mix
  • 1-½ cup Water
  • ½ Tablespoons Cinnamon
  • ½ teaspoons Nutmeg
  • 1  Apple, Peeled And Cored But Left Whole
  • Syrup Or Topping Of Your Choice

Preparation

In a shallow bowl mix your pancake batter according to the box instructions, or make your own! Add in your cinnamon and nutmeg and give it a good mix.

Heat up a skillet on medium. Cut up your apples into thin round slices (cut the apple horizontally, through where the core was) then dip each slice in the pancake batter.

Place each slice in the skillet and cook 1-2 minutes on each side or until golden brown. Garnish with some cinnamon sugar and top with some maple syrup!
